wHAT’S NEXT FOR THE SAVE SLEDGE FOREST MOVEMENT?

It is because of the tireless efforts of this amazing Save Sledge Forest community (and our awesome team of attorneys!) that right now - more than two years after the first Hilton Bluffs project was submitted - a single home has yet to be built in Sledge Forest.

This ever-growing group of citizens - who insisted their voices matter - have proved that standing up & speaking out can make a difference.

With more than 25,300 signatures opposing this ill-conceived development, we have grown a movement that can no longer be ignored.

And now, we must remain engaged and vigilant while we await to see what Copper Builders chooses to do next. They have 30 days to appeal the Oct. 8th revocation by the TRC of the previoiusly approved Hilton Bluffs plan.

We hope they choose a different path.

Perhaps one that stops trying to make this particular project fit where it clearly doesn’t and instead considers a future for this land that the broader community can embrace.
